Why Old Marmalade? Well my blog is named after a favourite pole. I purchased two from Thomas Keldon of London as unfinished projects. He had stripped this one of the awful orange paint that was on it when he bought it and he gave it the name. I left the odd fleck of paint lodged in the nooks and crannies as a nod to its history when I re-finished it.
